3rd Annual Adoptees Unite Worldwide Hike

May is Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AANHPI) and Mental Health Awareness Month! To celebrate/bring awareness and recognition, AKA-SF is taking a moment to peacefully reflect via a nature hike. Please join our fearless trail leaders (Kim Langworthy and Lynn Murphy) as AKA-SF participates in the greater 2024 Annual Adoptees Unite Worldwide Hike! This will be a combination of a few trails, starting with the Ecology Trail and ending with a gradual incline up Lover’s Lane.

If weather permits, it will be a treat to walk among the tall eucalyptus trees, and then out in the open overlooking the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. The promenade has been restored and revamped so photos are encouraged! Along the trail, there will be other points of interest, including the Korean War Memorial and the Palace of Fine Arts.
