March is Women’s History Month and in celebration, AKA-SF has partnered with AKA-LA and AKA-SD to bring you this special screening and discussion (in April – Sorry! This is the earliest we could get it on the calendar)! San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego will simultaneously screen Three Moons of Biyangdo followed by a unified post-screening discussion via Zoom and in person focused on Korean tradition, history, and woman empowerment.
WHEN: Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2 PM to 7 PM*
*Attendees are welcome to attend part or all of the event
WHERE: Private Residence in Walnut Creek (RSVP for the address)
WHO: Due to the nature and structure of the event, the 4:30 PM Virtual Discussion will only be open to adoptees who identify as women or who are woman-aligned**
**Woman-aligned is intended to be inclusive of folks who do not identify as women, but who have been socialized to follow gender norms typically ascribed to women.
